Southern Central Africa.
Located in the southern central plateau of the African continent, the landlocked Southern Central Africa includes Malawi and Zambia. African Footprint Safaris conducts journeys into both of these countries.
Zambia
Zambia is situated on the vast, rugged central plateau of Southern Central Africa, with a mostly mild and pleasant climate, supporting great wildlife areas. Zambia also boasts the Zambezi, Kafue and Luangwa rivers - as well as one of the largest waterfalls in the world, Victoria Falls (also called Mosi-oa-Tunya - Smoke That Thunders) creating much excitement for the adventure enthusiast.
Malawi
Known throughout as the "warm heart of Africa", Malawi is a landlocked country in Southern Central Africa. This country is defined by its topography of highlands split by the Great Rift Valley and the enormous Lake Malawi. Malawi is especially known for its lake with sandy white beaches, its varied wildlife and intense scenery but mostly for the friendliness of the Malawian people.
